Yes! Yoga is great for ALL ages — even KIDS! You don't have to be flexible, physically fit or skilled to participate. Yoga can easily be modified for any age or ability level. This versatile, inclusive activity can be practiced almost anywhere and with very little equipment. Yoga is perfect for classrooms, playgrounds, parks, before and after school programs, camps at home and much more.
What Exactly Is Yoga?
Yoga is a fun activity that includes breathing techniques, stretching, yoga poses and mindfulness. By focusing on breathing and yoga poses, kids and adults can become more active, flexible and mindful, benefiting overall health and well-being.
